Ingredients:
- 150–200g Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Add-ins:
- ¼ cup almonds (roasted or raw)
- 2 tbsp walnuts or pecans
- 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 2 tbsp raisins or chopped dates
- Pinch of sea salt or Himalayan pink salt
- 1 tbsp flaxseeds or chia seeds (for fiber + crunch)
- 1 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg (for warm spice)
- 1 tbsp dried cranberries, blueberries, or figs
- Orange zest or a few drops of vanilla extract
Method:

Step 1: Melt the Chocolate
Break Silk chocolate into pieces. Put it in a heat safe bowl. Heat up some water in a saucepan until the steam starts to appear and then place the chocolate bowl over the saucepan. Let the rising steam settle at the bottom of the bowl, this will help the chocolate melt. Stir to make chocolate silky and evenly melted. You can add some coconut oil for a glossy finish.
Step 2: Prep the Mix-ins
Prepare the mix-ins you want to add in the chocolate bark. Check out the list of mix-ins based on your mood in the article above. When using nuts and seeds, lightly toast them in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes. Let the nuts cool off completely. When using dates, use pitted dates and chop them to small sizes.
Step 3: Combine & Pour

Mix the toasted nuts, seeds, and dried fruits in melted chocolate. Leave some of it for the topping. Pour the mixture into a parchment lined tray or a plate and spread the chocolate to about ½ cm thickness.
Step 4: Top & Set
Sprinkle the remaining nuts on top of the chocolate, press gently, and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over it. Refrigerate for about 30-45 minutes until it is set completely. Break the bar into pieces and enjoy. You can also store it for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container in the fridge.
