Servings
For the Recipe
- Softened butter - 1/2 cup
- Powdered brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- All-purpose flour - 1 cup
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pinch of salt - 1/4 tsp
- Cadbury Cocoa Powder - 2 tsp
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Yogurt - 1/3 cup
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
- Cadbury Gems - 2 packets or as required to make the spring flowers
Directions

In a mixing bowl, combine powdered brown sugar and softened butter.

Cream them together using a whisk until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.

Add milk, curd (yogurt), and vanilla essence to the mixture.

Stir thoroughly until all the wet ingredients are fully incorporated and smooth.

In a separate bowl, sift together all the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.

Mix well to ensure even distribution of the leavening agent and cocoa.

Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.

Fold gently using a spatula or mix on low speed until you get a lump-free, smooth batter. Avoid over-mixing.

Grease a square baking pan and pour the batter into it. Smooth the surface with a spatula for an even layer. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center—it should come out with a few moist crumbs but no raw batter.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, cut into neat square pieces using a sharp knife.

Spread a layer of melted chocolate or chocolate ganache over each square. Let it set slightly for a glossy, rich finish.

Decorate each square by placing Cadbury Gems on top in a flower-like pattern. This adds both color and a fun, festive touch. Serve and enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate Spring Flower Brownies.
