TIPS:
Red Fruit Dessert tastes best when eaten instantly after assembly and when it’s chilled.
You can chill the fruits after you’ve peeled and diced them. Keep the whipping cream refrigerated too.
Ensure that you whip the cream to soft peaks to achieve a light and airy texture. Overwhipping will only lead to a grainy consistency.
Instead of combining all the ingredients together, why not consider layering them in small serving cups for a visually appealing presentation?
You can use a spoon or your hands to sprinkle the cocoa powder over the dessert, but for a professional touch, use a sieve instead.
Other red fruits that you can include in this dessert depending on seasonal availability are strawberries, raspberries, cherries, red grapes, and plums. All of these fruits have their own unique flavor profiles and nutritional benefits.
If you’re feeling especially fancy and luxurious, you can even stew the apples in some water, sugar, and cinnamon. Then the variety of textures in the dessert will be broader.
