Servings
For the Recipe
- All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
- Cadbury Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup or 2 tsp
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- A pinch of salt
- Butter (softened) - 1/2 cup
- Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
- Egg – 1
- Milk - 2 tsp (or as required for the dough)
- Cadbury Gems Candy - 12-15
- Melted Chocolate - 2 tsp or as required
Directions

In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and beat together until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Add the vanilla extract and mix to combine.

Add the egg to the butter-sugar mixture.

Beat everything until fully incorporated.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until the dough begins to form.

If the dough feels too crumbly, add milk one tablespoon at a time until it comes together.

Mix until all ingredients are well combined and soft cookie dough forms.

Roll out the dough evenly on a lightly floured surface using a rolling pin.

Use a flower-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes from the dough.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Arrange the cookies on the tray and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until set but still soft.

Let the cookies cool on the baking tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Once completely cooled, add a small amount of melted chocolate to the center of each cookie. Top with a candy gem or sprinkle for a decorative floral touch. Enjoy.
For optimal freshness, keep the cookies in an airtight container and enjoy within 4 to 5 days.
