Servings
For the Recipe
- Vermicelli (seviyan) - 1/2 cup
- Full Cream Milk - 2 cups
- Sugar - 2 tsp (adjust as per taste)
- Ghee - 1 tsp
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk - 1 regular bar
- Chopped nuts and raisins (optional) - for crunch - 1 tsp
- Cardamom powder (optional) 1/2 tsp
Directions

Heat ghee in a pan over low-medium heat and add the vermicelli. Roast, stirring constantly, for 3–4 minutes or until it turns golden brown and aromatic.

Pour in the milk and bring it to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally to prevent the vermicelli from sticking to the bottom.

Simmer for 5–7 minutes, or until the vermicelli softens and the milk thickens slightly. If the mixture becomes too thick, adjust the consistency with a splash of water or additional milk. Stir in the sugar and let it simmer for 2 more minutes.

Add cardamom powder and stir gently, infusing the kheer with a subtle, aromatic spice.

Break the Dairy Milk Silk chocolate into small pieces and add it to the kheer.

Stir continuously on low heat until the chocolate melts completely and blends into the mixture, creating a rich, creamy chocolate flavor.

Remove from heat and mix in chopped nuts and raisins (optional) for added texture, richness, and crunch.

Ladle the kheer into serving bowls, garnishing with chocolate shavings and a few extra chopped pistachios and almonds. Serve warm or chilled, as preferred.
