Servings
For the Recipe
- 1 packet Dairy Milk
- 1/2 kg paneer
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachio
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 tsp rose water
- 2 cups water
Directions

Knead the paneer until it becomes smooth. It takes around 3 to 5 minutes.

After you finish kneading, divide the dough into 7-8 balls and shape them into an oval shape.

Make sugar syrup with 1 cup of sugar and 2 cups of water. Let the sugar melt. Add rose water to the sugar syrup.

Carefully drop chomchoms into the syrup. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Stir carefully every few minutes.

Once it is done, you can see that the dough has doubled in size. Transfer all chomcoms onto a plate to make the garnishing.

Slit the chomchoms lengthwise and keep it aside.

Microwave Dairymilk chocolate for 30 minutes.

To make chocolate stuffing, mix mawa, milk powder, and melted Dairy Milk.

Stuff the chocolate mawa filling inside the chomchom.

Garnish with some chopped pistachios.

Lastly, roll the chomchom in desiccated coconut.

Serve chilled.
You can use fresh chenna instead of paneer to make the chomchom.
Do not overcook the chomchom; they can turn rubbery and hard.
