Servings
For the Recipe
- 2 tsp Cadbury cocoa powder
- 10 pieces dates
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup milk powder
- 1/4 tsp saffron strands
- 2 tsp ghee
Directions

To a medium pan, add ghee. Let the ghee melt over a medium flame. Then add milk and mix them immediately.

Add milk powder and a few saffron strands to the mixture and mix well until well combined and lump-free. Turn the heat to very low and continue to cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, or until the dough becomes non-sticky. Now switch off the flame.

Grease a baking tray and transfer the mixture to it. Spread eventually and refrigerate.

Add dates, peanut butter & Cadbury cocoa powder in a blender. One may add a little milk too. The brownie mixture should feature a tight consistency.

Transfer the brownie mixture to the same baking tray on top of the barfi. Gently press it with the help of a spatula or the bottom of a bowl.

Refrigerate for 2 hours. Using a sharp knife, cut into the desired shape and serve.
Store it in an airtight container for 1 week in the fridge.
