Servings
For the Recipe
- Bread slices - 3-4
- Milk - 2 cups
- Cornflour - 1/2 tsp
- Cadbury Cocoa Powder - 1 tsp
- Cadbury Dairy Milk SILK Chocolate - 1 Bar
- Sugar Syrup or liquefied honey - 1 tsp
- Nuts or dry fruits - 1 tsp
- Sprinklers (optional)
Directions

Take 3–4 slices of fresh white or brown bread. Using a round cookie cutter or a small bowl, cut each slice into round shapes.

In a saucepan, pour about 1½ to 2 cups of milk and bring it to a gentle boil - let it come to a boil twice for better flavor and thickness. Once boiling, reduce the heat and stir in the cornflour, mixing well until it has fully dissolved.

Now add 1 to 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder to the milk mixture. Stir continuously to prevent lumps from forming.

Keep stirring the mixture over low heat. You will notice it beginning to thicken gradually. This is essential for a smooth chocolate sauce.

Once the mixture has thickened, add pieces of Cadbury Silk chocolate. Let the chocolate melt completely into the hot mixture.

Continue stirring until the chocolate mixture becomes glossy, smooth, and lump-free. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.

Lightly brush the surface of each round bread slice with sugar syrup or a bit of liquefied honey. This adds sweetness and prevents the bread from drying out.

Spread a generous layer of the prepared chocolate mixture onto one slice of bread.

Sprinkle some chopped nuts, choco chips, or shredded coconut over the chocolate layer for added texture and flavor.

Place another bread slice on top of the chocolate-coated one, creating a sandwich. Repeat the same process - spread chocolate and toppings - for each pair of bread rounds. Once layered, cover the entire stack or sandwich with the remaining chocolate mixture, coating the top and sides evenly.

Decorate with colorful sprinkles or edible pearls (optional) on top for a festive touch. Let it rest in the fridge for 15–20 minutes to set well.

Once set, cut into small bite-sized pieces, wedges, or simply scoop out with a spoon. Serve chilled and enjoy your creamy, chocolatey bread delight.
Store in an airtight container if not serving immediately.
