Servings
For the Recipe
- 1 packet Dairy Milk chocolate
- 3 cups milk
- 3 tsp custard powder
- 10 pieces store bought gulab jamun
Directions

In a small bowl, add 1/4 cup of milk. Add the custard powder to the milk and stir well to combine.

Mix thoroughly until the custard powder fully dissolves and there are no lumps. Set this mixture aside for later use.

Heat a pan and bring the remaining milk to a boil. Once it starts boiling, add broken pieces of Dairy Milk chocolate and stir continuously until the chocolate completely melts and blends into the milk.

After the chocolate is fully incorporated, pour in the prepared custard-milk mixture. Continue cooking on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the milk reduces to half and thickens.

Transfer the thickened chocolate custard into a bowl. Refrigerate it for at least 4 to 5 hours to allow it to chill and set properly.

In the meantime, cut gulab jamuns into small bite-sized pieces. Add the chopped gulab jamuns to serving bowls or dessert glasses.

Pour the chilled custard over the gulab jamun pieces in each bowl. Garnish with a few more chopped gulab jamuns on top and serve cold for a rich, indulgent treat.
You can add some cardamom powder for flavor.
