Falooda is a popular dessert drink made with milk, falooda sev, basil seeds, rose syrup, ice cream, and dry fruits. It is creamy, colourful, and a beloved refreshing drink, especially during summer.

You can make falooda at home by cooking the falooda sev, soaking the basil seeds, and chilling the milk. Later, layers them with rose syrup, ice cream, and nuts in a tall glass, then serve immediately.

Falooda is made with chilled milk, falooda sev, soaked basil seeds, rose syrup, ice cream, dry fruits, and sometimes jelly or fresh fruits for extra flavor and texture. You can easily make this at home.

Prepare the Falooda mix as directed on the pack. Add chilled milk, cooked falooda sev, soaked basil seeds, and ice cream in a tall glass. Mix gently and layer everything nicely before serving.

You can make a simple Falooda mix by mixing rose syrup, sugar, cardamom, and a little milk powder together. Later, add it to chilled milk along with sev and basil seeds when serving.

It depends on the type of fast you are observing. A fasting-friendly Falooda can be made with milk, sabja seeds, nuts, and ingredients that are allowed during your fast.

There are various ways of decorating falooda like topping it with a scoop of ice cream, chopped pistachios, almonds, rose petals, cherries, chocolate shavings, or a drizzle of rose syrup to make it look more festive.

Layer the falooda dessert by adding the rose syrup at the bottom, then add basil seeds, falooda sev, chilled milk, jelly or fruits if using, and finish with ice cream, nuts, and your favourite toppings.

Cadbury Dairy Milk is a great choice for beginners because it melts easily and has a smooth, creamy taste. You can also grate it over the falooda for extra flavor.

To make chocolate falooda, you need to replace the rose syrup with chocolate syrup and use chilled chocolate milk instead of plain milk. Layer it with falooda sev, basil seeds, and chocolate ice cream, and top with chocolates like Cadbury Dairy Milk or Cadbury Bournville.
