Method:
Step 1: Reduce the Milk

Boil milk in a heavy-bottomed pan. Lower the flame after it comes to a boil, then let it simmer until it has reduced to three-quarters of its original volume. Stir it occasionally to prevent it from burning.
Step 2: Caramelize the Sugar
Add ½ cup of sugar and 2 teaspoons of water to a pan and heat until the mixture becomes caramel. Pour this caramel into the hot milk and stir well.
Step 3: Add Chocolate
