Ingredients:

- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup muesli with no added sugar - preferred
- ½ cup chopped mixed nuts - almonds, walnuts, cashews
- ¼ cup seeds - chia, flaxseed, pumpkin or sunflower
- 6–8 dates, pitted and chopped
- 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup for vegan version
- 80–100g Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk, chopped
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for extra softness)
Method: :
Step 1: Prepare the Dry Mix:
Start off by preparing the dry mix. Take a large bowl and in it, combine oats, muesli, chopped nuts, and seeds. If you cannot find muesli with a neutral flavor then you can skip it and add granola instead. Add a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness.
Step 2: Soften the Dates:
Take warm water in a bowl and add dates to it. Let it soak for 5 to 10 minutes then take the seeds out, chop it finely and mash it with the help of a mortar and pestle or with the help of a rolling pin. You can also blend it to a paste in a blender if you want an even texture with no chunks or lumps left. This will help the mixture bind more naturally.
Step 3: Melt the Chocolate:
Take a saucepan and fill water in it halfway. Let it steam but do not boil. Break Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk chocolate in a heatproof bowl and place it over the saucepan without touching the water. The rising steam will settle at the bottom of the bowl and melt the chocolate. Stir the chocolate well to dissolve the lumps.
Step 4: Mix with Peanut Butter:

Now combine the melted chocolate with peanut butter and melted coconut oil. The warmth of chocolate will help in integrating both the ingredients and make it a smooth and pourable mixture. Stir in honey or maple syrup to make it sweeter. Honey or maple syrup are better than sugar as they contain a deep flavor that complements chocolate while making it healthier.
Step 5: Combine Everything:
Now add the date paste into the melted chocolate mixture and combine well. Add this to the dry mixture and stir it well. The mixture will become well coated and sticky as you mix it. Combine until every kernel of the muesli dry mix is coated with chocolate and turned sticky and thick. If it still feels too dry, add more honey or chocolate to it.
Step 6: Shape & Set:
Line a flat tray with parchment paper and spray some oil or apply a little butter for better removal. Transfer the mixture on the lined tray and press it down firmly to an even layer with even thickness. You can press it down by placing another parchment paper on top and pressing it with the help of another tray to make the work fast. Refrigerate this for at least 1 to 2 hours until it is firm enough to hold shape well. Leave it if it has not turned firm yet.
Step 7: Cut & Store:
Once the layer is set, cut it into rectangular or square bars with the help of a greased knife. Greased knife makes a clean cut and does not let the bar stick to it, which could ruin the shape. After cutting, store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week and eat whenever you want.
