Recipe For Oreo Muesli Bars:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup muesli of any type – fruit & nut, multigrain, chocolate, etc.
- 8–10 Oreo cookies (crushed with cream)
- ¼ cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, or walnuts)
- 2 tbsp dried fruits —- raisins and cranberries
- ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
- 50 g Cadbury Dairy Milk or Bournville chocolate
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Method:

Step 1: Combine Dry Ingredients
Take a large mixing bowl and in it, add muesli, crushed Oreo cookies, chopped nuts, and dried fruits. Mix it well so the dry ingredients will get well distributed throughout. This will help in making the mixture homogeneous.
Step 2: Prepare Binding Mixture
Heat up a saucepan and combine honey, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Heat on low flame and stir continuously until the mixture is well mixed and turned smooth and fluffy. You can replace honey with maple syrup for the vegan version.
Step 3 – Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients
Now pour the warm mixture into the prepared dry ingredients. The warm mixture is sticky and slightly thick while being runny which will help in binding the dry ingredients to create solid bars. Stir the mixture immediately after adding the warm mixture so that everything is well and evenly coated. The dry ingredients will begin to stick together.
Step 4: Add Melted Chocolate
After that, add melted chocolate into the mixture. Here you can mix chocolate in two ways. You can either blend it completely for a uniform chocolate flavor all over or you can mix it partially to create a swirl effect of chocolate in the bars. This will enhance the appearance of the bars.
Step 5: Shape into Bars
Line a tray or a flat plate with parchment paper and transfer the mixture onto the tray. Press it down firmly to flatten it and use a spatula to spread it out evenly. Make sure that it is spread out with even thickness all over or else some parts will remain bumpy. Make sure the spatula you're using is a silicone spatula or if not, grease it well with butter to keep it from sticking.
Step 6: Chill Until Set
Refrigerate the layer for at least 1 to 2 hours to set it completely and make it firm. Do not take out before it is completely set. Leave it for more time if it still feels a little soft to touch.
Step 7: Cut and Serve
Remove the chilled slab of muesli from the tray and cut it into bars or squares using a sharp knife. Serve it right away or store in an airtight container in the fridge to eat later.
Tips For Making The Best Oreo Muesli Bars:

- To make the bars crunchy, toast the muesli in a dry pan for about 2 to 3 minutes. This will make the muesli extra crunchy and will evaporate any moisture that can later turn it soggy. You can also bake it for 6 to 8 minutes at 160°C.
- To make the bars chewy, use a little more honey or add peanut butter. This time, avoid toasting muesli. Chill the bars for 1 to 2 hours and not more.
- To make soft bars, use more crushed Oreo cookies along with their cream and use a little less dry muesli. This time, chill it for only 30 to 40 minutes until it just holds the shape well without being too firm.
- Press the mixture very firmly into the tray to help the binding process. If the ingredients are not closely packed, the binding will lose and bars will become crumbly.
