PRO-TIPS TO MAKE THIS PUDDING EVEN BETTER:
If you want to cut short the cooking time, then soak the red rice for about 4 to 5 hours. This will allow the rice to plump up, become tender quickly, and cook evenly.
Enhance the aroma of your dish by using cardamom powder or even cinnamon. The addition of these spices will add warmth and give it a coziness that's perfect for winter.
You can also toast the nuts to enhance their natural flavors that will impart a deeper nuttiness to your pudding. Additionally, the toasting process adds crunchiness, creating a delightful contrast in textures.
The pudding is traditionally served cold, but consider eating it lukewarm on a chilly winter day.
For an even more flavorful experience, make the pudding overnight before eating it. This extra time can allow all the ingredients to meld and the flavors to intensify.
