For the Recipe
- 1 cup Daliya
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- 5-6 pieces Dairy Milk Chocolate
- 1/4 cup Chopped nuts
- 2 cups Hot water
Directions

Add ghee to a pan and let it melt completely. Once hot, add the chopped nuts and fry them until golden brown. Once done, remove the nuts and set them aside.

In the same pan, add the daliya (broken wheat) and roast it on medium heat until it turns golden brown and aromatic. Be sure to wash and rinse the daliya thoroughly before use to remove any impurities.

Carefully add hot water to the roasted daliya. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on low heat until the daliya becomes soft and fully cooked. Stir occasionally to prevent it from sticking.

Once the daliya is cooked, add cardamom powder to the pan for flavor and mix gently to incorporate it evenly.

Now add pieces of Dairy Milk chocolate into the pan. Stir well until the chocolate melts completely and blends smoothly with the daliya mixture.

Add the previously fried nuts back into the pan. Cover the mixture and let it sit for a few minutes so the flavors can meld together.

Transfer the cooked lapsi to a serving bowl. Enjoy it hot as a comforting and unique dessert.
You can add coconut milk instead of hot water.
