Servings
For the Recipe
- 2 tsp Cadbury cocoa powder
- ½ cup fresh paneer
- ½ cup nuts
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- Few saffron strands ( optional )
Directions

Take fresh paneer and place it on a clean plate. Knead it thoroughly with your hands for 3–4 minutes, or until it becomes soft and smooth like dough. Once it reaches the desired consistency, add powdered sugar to the paneer.

Add a few strands of saffron directly to the kneaded paneer mixture to infuse it with a subtle aroma and golden color.

Now, add Cadbury cocoa powder to the paneer mixture for a rich chocolate flavor.

Knead the mixture again for another 3–4 minutes, or until all the ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is uniformly colored.

Transfer the prepared mixture into a medium-sized non-stick pan. Cook it over low heat, stirring continuously to avoid sticking. Cook until the mixture becomes slightly dry but still retains a moist, pliable texture. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before handling.

Finely chop your choice of dry fruits, such as almonds, pistachios, or cashews. Feel free to use any combination of nuts you prefer for decoration.

Divide the cooled mixture evenly into six portions. Roll each portion into a smooth ball using your palms. Then, gently press each ball between your palms to flatten it slightly. You may also use a decorative mold for a more traditional look.

Garnish each Sandesh with the chopped nuts on top for added texture and visual appeal. Serve and enjoy this delightful treat!
If the mixture gets dry , add little milk and knead again for 2 minutes.
