Servings
For the Recipe
- 6 pieces of Cadbury Bournville Dark Chocolate
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tsp butter
- Fruits of your choice for decoration
Directions

In a large mixing bowl, add the wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon powder. These dry ingredients will serve as the base for your pancake batter.

Using a spoon or a whisk, mix the dry ingredients thoroughly until all the powders are evenly combined. Once done, set this bowl aside for later use.

In a separate bowl, pour in the buttermilk and add a few drops of vanilla essence. These wet ingredients will add moisture and flavor to your batter.

Whisk the wet ingredients until they are well blended. Then slowly combine them with the dry mixture prepared earlier. Stir gently until a smooth, lump-free batter forms. If the batter seems too thick, add a small amount of milk to adjust the consistency.

Add chopped Cadbury Bournville chocolate into the prepared batter. This will give the pancakes a rich, chocolaty bite in every mouthful.

Stir the batter again to ensure that the chocolate is evenly distributed and the texture remains smooth and cohesive.

Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, lightly brush the surface with butter and pour a ladleful of the pancake batter onto the center of the pan. Allow it to cook until you see small bubbles forming on the surface.

Once the bubbles appear and the bottom is golden brown, carefully flip the pancake using a spatula. Cook the other side until it’s fully done and has a nice, even color.

Transfer the pancake to a plate and decorate with fresh fruits, a drizzle of liquid chocolate, or any topping of your choice. Serve warm and enjoy.
You can add little honey for more sweetness.
