For the Recipe
- Cadbury SILK Chocolate - 1 Bar
- Puff Pastry Sheets - 3-4 (or as required)
- Chopped Pistachio (or any nuts) - 1/2 tsp
- Dry Rose Petals (for garnishing)
- Maida slurry (mixture of maida and water)
- Melted chocolate - 1 tsp
- Butter paper
- Rakhi Threads
- Tape
Directions

Take readymade puff pastry sheets and cut them into floral shapes or any other shapes of your choice using cookie cutters.

Place a small piece of Cadbury Silk chocolate in the center of each puff pastry shape.

Cut out matching shapes from another puff pastry sheet and place them over the chocolate-filled base. Ensure the edges align properly.

Prepare a maida (all-purpose flour) slurry by mixing a small amount of flour with water to form a thick paste. Brush this slurry lightly along the edges of the pastry shapes to seal them well.

Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Brush the cutouts with a light milk wash for a golden finish, then place them on a parchment-lined baking tray or in the air fryer basket. Air-fry for 7–8 minutes, or until they puff up and turn golden brown and crisp. Let the pastries cool to room temperature.

Once cooled, drizzle or spread melted Cadbury SILK chocolate on the top surface of each pastry.

Sprinkle finely chopped pistachios and edible dried rose petals over the melted chocolate to give your rakhi a festive and elegant look.

Cut butter paper into the same shapes as your puff pastries. Stick a piece of colored thread or decorative rakhi string on the back side of the butter paper using clear tape or glue.

On the front (reverse) side of the butter paper, apply a small dollop of melted chocolate in the center. This will act as edible glue.

Carefully press the decorated puff pastry onto the melted chocolate to secure it to the butter paper base. Let it set for a few minutes until firm. Your beautiful and edible Rakhi is now ready to celebrate the occasion. This Raksha Bandhan, don’t just tie a Rakhi - make sweet memories by enjoying it together!
