For the Recipe
- Suji (semolina) - 1 cup
- Ghee (clarified butter) - 1-1/2 tsp
- Milk 1-1/2 cup (milk makes it richer, you can use water also instead of milk)
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk (chopped) - 1 Regular bar
- Sugar - 2 tsp (optional, depending on your sweetness preference)
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp (optional, for traditional aroma)
- Chopped nuts (for garnishing) - almonds, cashew, pistachio
Directions

In a pan, heat the ghee on medium heat.

Add suji and roast it, stirring continuously, until it turns golden and aromatic (about 5–7 minutes). Lower the heat if needed to prevent burning.

Carefully pour in milk while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Be cautious - it may splutter!.

Stir and cook on low heat until the suji absorbs the liquid and thickens (about 4–5 minutes).

Add a small amount of sugar according to your preference, as the chocolates contribute ample sweetness.

Chop Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk into small pieces.

Stir in the chopped chocolate pieces, allowing them to melt into the halwa until it turns silky and develops a deep, luscious flavor.

For an extra layer of flavor, you may add a pinch of cardamom powder (optional).

Garnish with chopped nuts for a delightful crunch, and serve warm while the flavors are at their best.
