Servings
For making the dough
- Flour - 1 & 1/2 cup
- Ghee - 2 tsp
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of sugar
- Water as required to make the dough
For making the filling
- Cudbury dairy milk - 1/2 packet (4 pieces) chopped
- Desiccated coconut - 1 tsp
- Chopped dry fruits - 1/2 cup
- Cudbury dairy milk - 1 packet (melted)
Directions

Chop the Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate into small pieces.

Combine the chopped chocolate and dry fruits.

Add desiccated coconut.

Mix everything to combine well and set aside.

In a separate mixing bowl, combine maida (all-purpose flour), ghee, a pinch of salt, and sugar. Gradually add water to knead into a soft dough.

Let the dough rest for 15–20 minutes.

Roll the dough using a rolling pin and cut it into small, round shapes.

Place one teaspoon of the prepared chocolate and dry fruit filling in the center of each dough round.

Fold the dough in half, pressing the edges gently to seal. You can use a fork to press down and create a decorative edge or use gujiya molds for a more uniform shape.

Once all the gujiyas are ready, Preheat the oven to 180°C. Air fry or bake the gujiyas for 12–14 minutes, or until golden brown. Alternatively, you can deep fry them.

Melt some chocolate and transfer it to a piping bag. Drizzle the melted chocolate in lines or any design of your choice over the cooled gujiyas.
For the filling, you can add any nuts, mawa or caramelized coconut.
