For the Recipe
- 1 cup atta
- 1/4 cup suji
- 1/4 tsp elaichi powder
- 1/4 cup coconut
- 1 tsp sauf
- 4 tsp ghee
- 4 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup jaggery powder
- 1 cup oil
Directions

Mix all-purpose flour and suji, saunf, sugar,and elaichi powder into a medium size bowl.

Next, add coconut with the dry ingredients.

Pour warm ghee into the dry ingredients. Gently mix all ingredients.

Mix jaggery powder with warm water. Mix until the jaggery melts totally with water.

Strain the jaggery water and start mixing with the dry ingredients.

Make a soft and smooth dough. Cover with a cotton kitchen cloth for 15 minutes.

Make small balls from the dough. You can use a small ice cream scoop to achieve the same even quantities of dough. Gently press the dough a little and make a pattern on the dough using a fork or toothpick.

Heat oil in a kadai, fry until golden brown on both sides. Turn over a couple of times and fry till golden and crisp.Let it cool completely.

Take another bowl, break Bournville chocolate. Microwave and melt until smooth consistency.

Dip thekua into melted chocolate. Keep it on parchment paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve chilled.
Store them in the fridge in an airtight container.
