Chusi Pitha is a traditional Bengali winter delicacy made from tiny, hand-rolled rice flour dumplings simmered in thickened milk and jaggery. For the Recipe
Ingredients:
- 100 gm powdered rice/rice flour
- 300 gm vermicelli (sewai)
- 1 litre milk
- 200 gm cocoa powder
- 20gm edible golden balls/sprinklers for garnishing
Directions

Take Cadbury bars, break it into small pieces.

Melt and whisk.

Put boiled vermicelli into the melted chocolate and mix well. Brush a small bowl with butter, layer it with melted chocolate, add the choco-vermicelli and freeze. Let it set.

Take rice flour, add cocoa powder and mix well to form a dough. Shape out elongated dumpling like pieces.

Boil chusi(dumplings) in water until cooked, then drain. Lightly toss the boiled chusi in cocoa powder.

Boil milk, cook it until it thickens and forms malai (cream). Add melted chocolate to form chocolate malai.

Take the choco-vermicelli bowl, fill in choco malai, put the chusi coated with cocoa powder. Garnish & serve.
