For the Recipe

  • 1 cup almonds (badam)
  • ½ cup milk (for grinding)
  • ½ cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • ¾ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2–3 cardamom pods (crushed or powdered)
  • Raisins - 1 tsp

For the Chocolate Drizzle

  • Cadbury Dairy milk silk (melted) 1/2 cup
  • Fresh cream - 1 tsp
  • Butter - ½ tsp (optional, for shine)

Directions

Step 1

Soak almonds in hot water for 1 hour and grind them into a smooth paste with ½ cup milk.

Heat ghee in a pan.

Add the almond paste and cook on low-medium heat. Stir continuously to avoid sticking.

After about 5 - 6 minutes, when it starts thickening and releasing aroma, add sugar and water. Stir well and sugar will melt and make the mixture gooey again. Continue to cook until it thickens.

Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Stir in chopped raisins and give it a good mix.
