Servings
For the Recipe
- 8 pieces of Cadbury Bournville Dark Chocolate
- 1 big bowl grated coconut
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
Directions

Take a medium-sized pan and shallow-fry the grated coconut for 30 seconds. Always use fresh coconut to make naru. Do not overcook, otherwise it will turn brown.

Now, pour the milk into the same pan for a better consistency.

Add cardamom powder for flavour. You can skip this part if you want.

Add sugar next for sweetness. Cook and stir continuously for another minute.

Once the sugar has melted and been mixed with the coconut, add Cadbury Bournville chocolate and continue cooking.

After some time, the chocolate will melt, then mix it gently with the coconut. Don't cook much. Switch off the gas and let it cool for 1 minute.

Now add a little ghee to your palm and make small balls/naru. Refrigerate for 1 hour and enjoy.
You can store it in the fridge for up to 1 month.
