  • 8 pieces of Cadbury Bournville Dark Chocolate
  • 1 sheet puff pastry sheet
  • ½ cup egg wash
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Step 1

Unroll the cold puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. To get that classic croissant look, cut the sheet into long, skinny triangles.

Step 2

Melt Cadbury Bournville chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute.

Step 3

Apply melted chocolate to one side of the pastry sheet. Don't overstuff.

Bournville Chocolate Croissant - Rolling Pastry Triangle
Step 4

Starting from the wide end, roll the pastry toward the point. Make sure the tip of the triangle ends up tucked underneath the croissant so it doesn't unroll in the oven.

Bournville Chocolate Croissant - Brushing Croissant Egg Wash
Step 5

Brush with egg wash for that golden shine. Bake at 200°C for about 10 minutes or until they are puffed and deep golden brown.

Bournville Chocolate Croissant - Dusted Croissants
Step 6

Let them cool down & dust some powdered sugar. Enjoy with tea or coffee.

Don't overstuff the chocolate! Bournville is intense, and too much chocolate might leak out and burn on the tray
