Servings
For the Recipe
- 15 pieces Cadbury Bournville chocolate
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 pieces of eggs
- ¼ cup butter milk
- ½ cup hot coffee
- ½ cup whipping cream
Directions

In a large bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until no lumps remain.

Add the buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla.

Mix on medium speed until well combined.

Then carefully pour in the hot coffee.

Microwave & melt Cadbury Bournville chocolate for 1 minute.

Pour melted Bournville chocolate into this stage.

Mix all wet and dry ingredients and make a semi-tight, smooth batter.

Pour the batter evenly into the mold. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

For the ganache, mix Cadbury Bournville chocolates with warm whipped cream & black food colour.

Keep mixing everything until you get a tight and smooth consistency.

Garnish the cake with the ganache frosting and let it set for 1 hour before serving.
Leftover cake can be stored for 4-5 days in an airtight container.
