Berry Yogurt Parfait with Gems Sprinkles

Ingredients
(Makes 2 servings)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
- 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup raspberries, optional
- 1/2 cup granola
- 2 tbsp honey, optional
- 1/4 cup Cadbury Gems
- For garnish: Fresh mint leaves
Method:
- Wash and dry the berries first, if using strawberries, cut them into small cubes. Then arrange all the layers of your parfait – yogurt, berries, granola, and Gems.
- In a glass, jar, or parfait glass spoon 2 tablespoons of yogurt at the bottom. Tap to get rid of any air bubbles or gaps.
- Spoon a layer of your choice of berries, whether diced strawberries, blueberries or raspberries on top of the yogurt. You can gently press down
- Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of granola over the berries.
- Repeat the layers again. Add more yogurt, then more berries, then more granola. You can do 2 or 3 layers depending on your glass size.
- Drizzle with a little honey, especially if the kids like it sweeter or you are using unflavored yogurt.
- Sprinkle the top with the colorful Cadbury Gems. Add a few fresh berries on top along with a mint leaf (if your kid doesn’t hate these).
- Serve immediately so the granola stays crunchy, and the Gems doesn’t get embedded into the parfait.

Tips and Tricks
To be fair parfaits barely need this section, but we went ahead anyway because there is no correct way to construct a parfait, and they can contain anything and everything so you can go wild and add anything that your kid loves. There’s no wrong way to make a parfait, especially when it’s for the kids who might be way too easy to please.
Want to use strawberry yogurt instead of vanilla or plain one? Go for it! Mango, blueberry, or orange flavors work great too. You can even layer different flavors and experiment if you have that kind of a kid.
Your kid hates granola? No big deal. Swap it out for crushed cookies, like Oreos, cereal like cornflakes or muesli or even digestive biscuit crumbs. The crunch is what matters, if you can think of anything else that won’t be nauseatingly sweet, go for it!
Fruits might not seem like they are kid-friendly how many kids seem to be aversive to healthy things, but these are the crowning glory of your parfait. Berries are awesome, but so are bananas, grapes, apples, or even slices of kiwi and mango, swap away by all means. You can use fresh fruit, or frozen ones that are slightly thawed and make sure to use a mix of different fruits.

The best part, of course, is the toppings and the Cadbury Gems make the whole parfait come together well. You can add to the craziness here by adding rainbow sprinkles, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, or even a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce if you wish to upgrade the parfait for a party or for an indulgent treat.
Another way to enjoy these kinds of parfaits is turn it into a mini-party station if you are entertaining a bunch of kids. Set out bowls with yogurt, fruits, granola, and toppings, and let everyone build their own parfait masterpiece. It's fun, a little messy, and super tasty. Just make sure if you're making them ahead of time, wait until the very last minute to add crunchy stuff like granola, so they don’t get soggy.
