For the Recipe
- Butter: 1 cup (226g)
- All-purpose flour: 2 cups (250g)
- Baking Powder: 1 1 / 4 tsp (5g)
- Salt: 1 / 2 tsp (3g)
- Sugar: 1 cup (200g)
- Eggs: 2 large
- Chocolate chips: ½ cup (85 g )
- Maple syrup: 2 tsp
Directions

Cream together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.

Add the vanilla, eggs, and maple syrup. mixing well. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until barely combined. Do not overmix.

Pour the batter into a 9x9-inch pan. Top with chocolate chips. Bake at 325°F for 35-40 minutes.

Once done, sprinkle some sea salt right after they come out of the oven.

Cut into pieces and enjoy hot.
