How to Prepare Chocolate Fondue At Home: Step-By-Step Guide
Here’s the step-by-step recipe to prepare easy chocolate fondue at home.

Add the milk and fresh cream in a ceramic bowl. Follow this up with the Dairy Milk, breaking it into smaller pieces before adding it to the bowl.
Microwave the mix for 30 seconds, then remove the bowl to give the contents a good stir. Return the bowl to the microwave for another 30-second round.

Take the bowl out and whisk the chocolate until it is completely melted and mixed with the dairy.
Add the cocoa and nutmeg to the melted chocolate and whisk again until smooth. Set aside.

Slice and core the apples, running a toothpick gently but firmly into each section of the fruit. Arrange the skewered apple pieces on a platter.
Pour out the chocolate mixture into a suitable sized ramekin or a fondue pot. If you do not have a fondue pot, a ceramic bowl positioned over a candle in a holder works just as well.

Dunk the apple slices into the warm melted chocolate and bite into a piece of heaven!
You can use any fruit of your choice, or even marshmallows, for dipping.
A luscious traditional chocolate fondue is all about a smooth blending of richness, sweetness, creaminess, and depth. However, the mindful addition of items like freshly sliced fruits, nuts, cheese cubes, marshmallows, and pound cakes to this chocolate fondue recipe for parties further adds to the decadence of the chocolate fondue. And, arranging all of them on a classic fondue board elevates the experience to a whole new level.
- To keep the fondue warm for longer, use heavy cast-iron or ceramic pots. These pots are capable of holding heat better than other thinner materials.
- Place the pot on a fondue burner or tea light candles for a consistent, low heat.
- Warming the fondue pot in the oven is another way to keep it warm before pouring in the mixture to prevent immediate cooling.
