Caramelized Pear Upside-Down Cake: A Sweet And Golden Delight

Introduction

Prepare a moist and warming cake with caramelized pears for any occasion. With the comfort of caramel and pears, this upside-down cake is a delight for the tastebuds.

Ingredients

2 pears, peeled, cored, and sliced
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup unsalted butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs

Prepare

Preheat oven to 175°C. Melt butter and brown sugar then pour it into a greased cake pan. Arrange pear slices on it.

Make Batter

Whisk flour, cinnamon, and sugar together. Add eggs and mix well.

Pour and Bake

Pour the batter over pears and bake for 30-35 minutes.

Serve

Let cool for 10 minutes then invert it on a plate. Slice and serve warm.
