Vrat-Friendly Aloo Halwa Recipe For Navratri Prasad

Ingredients

2 large potatoes
1/2 cup ghee
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup khoya
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup chopped almonds, cashews, and pistachios

Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and grate the potatoes.
Cook potatoes in ghee on medium heat for 5-7 minutes until they are soft and pink.

Add Milk and Sugar

Pour in milk and add sugar.
Mix well until sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.
Keep stirring.

Add Khoya

Crumble khoya and add it to the mixture evenly.
Mix it well until its combined then stir in cardamom powder and chopped nuts.

Cook

Continue cooking on medium to low heat until it comes together and leaves the sides of the pan.

Serve

Once cooked
serve it hot and garnish with chopped nuts.
