Prepare

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a cookie sheet. Beat together butter, then incorporate vegetable oil.

Chill and Bake

Chill the soft dough for approximately 1 hour, then line the cookie sheet with 12 tablespoons of dough drops, press evenly, cover with sugar, bake for around 9 -10 minutes, and finally decorate with icing when completely cooled.

Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup sugar, plus more for topping
½ cup powdered sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 chai tea bag

Make Dough

Add sugar, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla to the mixture. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and tea to form a dough.
