Sweeten Your Yaosang Celebrations With Indian Style Chocolate Bread Pudding

Ingredients

6-8 Bread slices
2 cups Milk
½ cup Dark chocolate
2 tbsp Cocoa powder
¼ cup Sugar or jaggery
2 Eggs
2 tbsp Butter
½ tsp Cardamom powder
2 tbsp Chopped nuts

Prepare

Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish. Tear bread to pieces and arrange in the dish.

Make Chocolate Mixture

Heat milk in a pan and add chocolate, cocoa, and sugar. Stir well and once smooth mixture forms turn off the heat and let mixture cool.

Thicken the Mixture

Whisk eggs into chocolate mixture and add cardamom powder.

Soak and Bake

pour the mixture over bread evenly and top with nuts. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

Serve

Plate bread pudding while still Warm and top with nuts.
