Silk Chocolate Coconut Mithai: A Fusion Treat For Kollam Pooram

Ingredients

1 cup fresh grated coconut
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup milk powder
100g Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk chocolate
2 tbsp ghee
½ tsp cardamom powder
¼ cup chopped nuts (cashews, almonds, or pistachios)

Toast Coconut

Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a roast grated coconut in it for 2-3 minutes on low heat until aromatic.

Mix and Cook

Add sweetened condensed milk, milk powder, and cardamom powder. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Add Silk Chocolate

Melt Dairy Milk Silk chocolate and pour it into the coconut mixture. Stir well.

Shape

Once mixture is thick, remove from heat and let cool enough to handle. Shape it to laddoos or squares and rest.

Garnish and serve

Sprinkle with chopped nuts and serve.
