Pumpkin Halwa Recipe: A Warm & Nutty Dessert For Yaosang Treat

Ingredients

2 cups grated pumpkin
½ cup jaggery
½ cup coconut milk
2 tbsp ghee
½ tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp chopped nuts
1 tbsp raisins

Cook Pumpkin

Heat ghee in a pan and saute grated pumpkin for 5-7 minutes. Stir in jaggery and mix well until it's blended.

Pour Coconut Milk

Add coconut milk and simmer until mixture thickens. Stir so it doesn't stick to the pan.

Add Flavor and Garnish

Mix in cardamom powder and continue cooking. Roast dry fruits in ghee and top it on the halwa.

Serve

Serve halwa with extra dry fruits on top and enjoy.
