Peppermint Mocha Madness: Coffee Shop Worthy Drinks at Home

Brew Coffee/Espresso

Brew a strong cup of coffee or make 2 shots of espresso using your preferred method.

Heat Milk

Warm 1 cup of milk in a saucepan or microwave until it's heated but not boiling.

Mix Cocoa and Sugar

Combine 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder with 2 tablespoons of sugar in a small bowl.

Prepare Mocha Mix

Stir the cocoa-sugar mix into the brewed coffee or espresso.

Add Peppermint Extract

Mix in 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract, adjusting to taste.

Froth Milk

Froth the warm milk until creamy using a frother or whisk.

Combine and Garnish

Pour the frothed milk into the coffee-cocoa mix, stir gently, and optionally top with whipped cream and crushed peppermint candies.
