Oreo Rainbow Cake Recipe: A Colorful Delight With A Crunchy Twist

Ingredients for the Cake

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk
Rainbow food coloring
1 cup crushed Oreo cookies

Ingredients for the Frosting

2 cups heavy cream
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup crushed Oreos

Prepare Batter

Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and beat butter and sugar in another bowl. Mix eggs and vanilla into butter mixture and then combine with dry mixture gradually alternating with milk.

Color and Mix

Divide batter into six bowls and add food coloring in each to make the rainbow colors. Fold in crushed Oreos.

Bake

Pour each batter into a cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C or 15-20 minutes. Once baked, let cool.

Make Frosting

Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Fold in crushed Oreos.

Assemble and Decorate

Stack up the layers in vibgyor color order with prepared frosting. Cover the cake with remaining frosting and decorate with rainbow sprinkles and Oreo cookies.
