1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
1 cup (200g) brown sugar
1 cup (120g) pecan halves
1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 large eggs
1/2 cup (120ml) milk
Preheat oven to 175°C. Melt butter in cake pan in the oven. Once butter is melted, sprinkle brown sugar evenly.
Arrange pecans evenly in a single layer on brown sugar. Press gently to make them stick.
Whisk flour and baking powder. In a different bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Combine both mixes and whisk well.
Pour prepared batter into pan over pecans. Spread batter evenly and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Once baked, let the cake cool and serve with drizzle or ice cream.
