1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
4 cups whole milk
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate
½ tsp vanilla extract
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa powder.
Add milk, chocolate chips, vanilla and whisk together.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring it to a boil while stirring continuously.
Keep it aside and let it cool.
Serve with your favorite toppings. Enjoy.
Replace 1 cup of milk with 1 cup of heavy cream or half and half to get a richer and creamier hot chocolate.
