Kid-Friendly American Chocolate Fudge Brownie Recipe For Fun Baking

Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup colourful sprinkles

Prepare

Preheat the oven to 350°F or 175°C and grease the 9x13-inch baking pan.

Melt butter

Melt butter and add sugar to it. Mix well and let it cool at room temperature slightly.

Add eggs

Add eggs one by one and stir well after breaking in each egg. Add vanilla extract and mix well.

Make dry mix

Mix flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder in a bowl for the dry mix.

Combine wet and dry mix

Gradually combine the wet and dry mix and stir until well combined without overmixing.

Include mix-ins

Now add the fun mixins like chocolate chips and sprinkles. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Bake the cake

Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes and check with a toothpick to see if it comes out clean. Cool the cake and cut it into pieces for serving.
