1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ cup unsalted butter
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
½ cup strong brewed coffee
½ cup sour cream (or yogurt)
1 tsp vanilla extract
10-12 Oreo cookies
Set the oven to 175°C for preheating and grease and line a 9-inch cake pan.
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder together in a bowl.
In a different bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one by one, mixing after every addition. Stir in vanilla, coffee, and sour cream.
Gradually fold the wet mix into dry mix. Fold in crushed Oreo cookies.
Pour batter into lined pan, sprinkle crushed Oreo and chocolate chips and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Let cake cool then slice and serve with a cup of coffee.
