Introduction

Ingredients

100 g cocoa or dark chocolate
50 g sugar
30 g butter
120 ml fresh cream
Salt – a pinch

Step 1

On the stovetop, heat the fresh cream and unsalted butter over low heat until warm, but not boiling.

Once the cream and butter are warmed through, add chopped chocolate or cocoa powder to the cream and butter mixture. Continuously stir until the chocolate has fully melted and mixed with cream and butter.

Next, add the sugar and salt, and stir until the sugar has completely dissolved and no lumps are remaining in the sauce.

Step 4

Keep whisking the sauce over low heat until it reaches the desired thickness and becomes shiny.

Step 5

Remove from heat, let sit for a few minutes to cool slightly, then pour evenly over brownies for a smooth, shiny finish.
