How To Make Bebinca: The Classic Goan Layered Dessert

Ingredients

1 cup coconut milk
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

Prepare The Batter

To make the batter
beat the eggs and sugar together and then stir in the flour
nutmeg
cardamom
and coconut milk.

Layer And Bake

Spread a thin layer of batter into a baking pan after greasing it.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes
or until set
at 350°F/175°C.
Continue by stacking and baking the leftover batter.

Chill And Present

Before slicing
let the bebinca cool entirely and serve.
