Begin with Cold, Full-Fat Milk

Begin with 1 cup of cold full-fat milk. It provides the milkshake with a rich, creamy foundation that mixes well without ice.

Mix with Melted Chocolate

Melt ½ cup of chocolate and cool it briefly. Mix with the milk to achieve that velvety, rich consistency.

Mix in a Scoop of Ice Cream

Put in one full scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream. It adds creaminess and a rich, dessert texture to the shake.

Sweeten Just Right

Taste the mixture before putting in sugar. If necessary, add 1–2 teaspoons of sugar or honey and give it a few quick whisks.

Top Off with Toppings
