Homemade Rough Puff Pastry Made Easy

Ingredients

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
1/2 tsp salt
6-8 tbsp cold water

Make Dry Mixture

Combine flour and salt. Add cubed butter and combine it well with your hands until dough becomes chunky.

Add Cold Water

Add cold water slowly and mix with a fork. Work the dough with hands.

Shape and Roll

Roll the dough out on a floured surface. Fold it into thirds then wrap and keep in fridge.

Repeat

After setting, roll and fold the dough again and then set. Repeat 3-4 times. After last fold, chill the dough for 30 minutes before using.
