1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp ghee
Water (for dough)
A pinch of salt
1 cup khoya (mawa)
¼ cup tutti frutti
2 tbsp chopped nuts
¼ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp cardamom powder
½ cup dark or milk chocolate (melted)
1 tsp butter
Mix flour, ghee, and salt. Rub with fingers then add water to make a soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest.
Take crumbled khoya in a pan and sauté on low heat. Turn off heat and add tutti frutti, nuts, coconut, powdered sugar, and cardamom.
Make small circle sheets with dough, add the filling in center and seal edges to make half-moon shape.
Fry gujiyas in oil or ghee until golden. Melt chocolate with butter to make glaze.
Garnish with extra tutti frutti, nuts, or edible gold leaf.
