1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup ground hazelnuts
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 ripe pears, peeled and diced
Preheat oven to 175°C and grease and flour cake pan.
Whisk flour, ground hazelnuts, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and add vanilla extract. Add dry ingredients and milk alternatively and mix until combined.
Fold in diced pears and pour batter into greased pan. Bake for 40 minutes.
Cool the cake for 10 minutes and transfer it to a wire rack. Slice and serve.
