Easy Pancake Recipe Without Eggs and Dairy

Ingredients

1 cup white flour
3 tablespoons white sugar
2 1⁄4 teaspoons baking powder
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
2 1⁄2 tablespoons margarine
3⁄4 cup water
1 eggs or 2 tablespoons water

Sift flour

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a mixing bowl.

Melt margarine

Melt margarine of the given measure in a frying pan. Spread margarine evenly to grease the pan.

Mix margarine and water

Pour melted margarine into a small bowl and add water to it. Mix it well.

Mix wet and dry mix

Add this liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well. It's ok to keep the batter lumpy but avoid overmixing.

Make pancakes

Ladle pancake batter into the greased pan and cook until the surface becomes bubbly.

Flip pancakes

Flip it over to cook on the other side until golden brown.

Serve

Serve the pancakes hot with honey or maple syrup.
