Easy Pancake Mix Recipe for Beginners

Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 ¼ cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons melted butter

Make dry mix

Make the dry mix by sifting together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Make wet mix

In another bowl, make a wet mix by combining milk, egg, and melted butter. Beat to make a smooth mixture.

Combine wet and dry mix

Combine both wet and dry mix together and stir until well combined. Do not overmix even if some lumps are remaining.

Fold in chocolate chips

At this point, you can fold in chocolate chips, fruits, nuts, or dry fruits as you like.

Let the batter sit

Let the batter sit for 5-10 minutes to hydrate the flour and activate the baking powder to make fluffy pancakes. Now your batter is ready to make fluffy pancakes.
