Decadent Almond Cake Recipe To Celebrate National Almond Day

Ingredients

1 ½ cups almond flour
¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
½ cup almond milk
1 tsp almond extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ cup sliced almonds

Preheat Oven

Start by preheating the oven to 175°C and grease a 9-inch cake pan.

Make Wet Mix

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy mixture forms. Add eggs one by one followed by almond extract and almond milk.

Make Dry Mix

Combine almond flour, all-purpose flour, and baking powder. Add this in wet mixture.

Bake

Pour batter into greased pan and bake for 40 minutes. Cool off and glaze with honey or drizzle sauce.
